  • invite+welcome+connect

Invite-Welcome-Connect is a churchwide and Diocesan ministry that focuses on

intentional practices of evangelism, hospitality, and connectedness. We follow the

Gospel directive to “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). St. Peter’s

actively seeks to welcome newcomers and model the hospitality of Jesus Christ through

    our IWC Committee.

We invite people into a life-transforming relationship with God through Jesus and share this journey together.

We welcome newcomers and guests knowing that in doing so we welcome Jesus. Jesus modeled for us a new way of seeing one another—the way of love, compassion, and forgiveness.

We connect with one another with joy and hospitality. We listen to one another and seek mutual trust and understanding. Connection helps to answer these questions: Where do I fit in? Can I make friends in this church? Is there room for me relationally? Does this church need me? Can I find a place to belong and serve? Am I safe here?

Our many IWC offerings help to create a mutually supportive and respectful community of faith. If you would like to know more about our IWC ministry, please contact Rev. Kathy or one of our IWC leaders.

    Our IWC leaders are:

    Suzanne Crager

    Carol Bly
